Definitely gives the idea that spring is not far off…..
So beautiful with halos of light. At first glance I thought they were pussy willows and I thought, “How can you have them before me (you being more northern)?” I long to see them and the message of relief from winter that they bring. I’m getting tired of the cold!
I saw a few pussywillows today and little red buds on my dogwood shrubs. They make me feel hopeful and in awe of how much is going on during a seemingly lifeless winter.

There were many magnolias along my running route in Houston, but I don’t remember that they ever lost their leaves. Pretty.
Houston here, too. Different species. I was amazed the first time I saw this sort.
