  1. Lucky you! While winter winters on there, it barely made an appearance in the Rocky Mountain foothills. Our hopes to forestall drought and fire are pinned to heavy spring snows which — thankfully — aren’t unusual here.

    1. I’m a former Rocky Mountain foothills resident who recently moved to NJ.
      I still am receiving the drought warnings from Colorado as I simultaneously get messages about closings here due to record snowfall. Wishing I could send it westward.
