  1. I looked through your last month’s work. You have so many photos that remind me of my own photos in a winter world over the last decade, this one especially. It has to drop in temperature very low to make these ice filament fractals. Usually it needs to be after a relatively warm day so the humidity can rise and then the sudden night time drop starts the magic formation of ice into such beautiful designs. I’d attach some here for you to see if I could. If you read my post “Down the Drain” you will see similar ice formations on our spring fed pond. I have better pics of the formation, but that one went better with that essay. Keep capturing the beauty of cold.
