A beautiful poem and photo. It reminds me of when I once brought several cattails home to my little βart studioβ thinking theyβd dry well. The next morning, I discovered a room full of cattail βfluffβ waiting to germinate on everything there. Lol! π
OH NO! That’s the kind of thing I’d do. I’ve really had to teach myself “don’t touch” if I don’t know the plant if I’m wandering in the wilds. But it’s always the first thing I want to do – touch it, stick my nose deep in it, then pick it and bring it home.
Unlike the cattails, I am totally given over to impatience for spring, despite knowing it is our windiest season. Oh, wait, does that mean it is actually here, since we had 70mph winds with our snow yesterday???
wonderful wordplay

I’m in that cue too! Maybe not so patiently….
