What a good thought
The last flower until spring, beautiful.
What an odd flower! With it’s overly large petal, and another smaller one that’s slightly larger then the other three.
Yes… let spring’s inviting rewards help us through the winter!! 😉
I am always surprised to find those tender petals blooming so late in the year. You’re right to liken them to spring-feelings.
Beautifully expressed, longing for Spring
Great color and texture.
Thanks for this! I just found your blog. In August, I started working in a garden established by others , and am watching the plants I planted, and looking forward to next Spring for more planting. For more details, visit my seven year old blog, the entries Courtyard Garden Saga, Parts 1 and 2, from this past August. I would appreciate any suggestions! Anne
