One could almost think of that band’s theme song for “The Monkey’s, “ Here they (it) come, walking down the street. Getting the funniest looks from, everyone (it) meets!” And run as fast as one can, there is no outrunning ‘Ol Man Winter.

At first, I read a train loaded with coal, because we still have coal trains here (Pennsylvania). But cold is coming, too. We had snow a few days ago. Didn’t last. I hope any preparations for winter are going well for you, though I guess it’s coming, anyway. I enjoy the text. The photograph is impressive. Conveys a true sense of distance.
Thanks so much CL. And I am glad to be able to place you, in my mind, in PA. And coal would be apt too – to manage the cold. Here in our river valley we have trains. And I love the plaintive sound of their whistles.
