Oh my gosh – terrible challenge for firefighters. Here in this rural area unless you have a pond or are near the river that firefighters can pump water from they often have no choice but to let things burn. We are so grateful for their heroics in saving people and animals. I so admire what you do Rene. It takes a special kind of person. Be safe!
I’ve never seen a roof like that — at least, that I can remember. Standing seam metal roofs are all the rage down here now, but this one doesn’t seem to be metal. Perhaps it is — or not. In any case, the lines make for a delightful and interesting photo. The siding and old windows are wonderful, too.
Very well seen and described
thanks Derrick
…being a barn guy….gotta love this for sure….
I though of you George when I saw these old beauties.
Love the lines and artistry, but can’t help but think of the challenges for firefighters. Well captured!

You have become my daily calendar! What fun!
Yes, and all-day shadow play as well.
