Interesting images. I’ve never associated trees with polkadots.
Wonderful view of the hillside.
like the combination of porcupined hills and intense blue sky.
I love that expression “defrocked trees that porcupine the mountain.”

I love the word image too. And it’ shows how happy Winter when Sol is present.
Yet another nice one, words and photo! Blessings, Natalie 🙂
the harmony of a haiku and photo.
Anyone who can turn “porcupine” into a verb – and let’s just say it is one rather than an adjective – has some mighty fine writing talent!
I love “porcupine” as a verb–wonderful!
