When I saw this picture it reminded me of a book that I read recently. The Woodland Year by Ben Law. I looked it up before reading the comments and discovered that Erica also knew its name, chicken of the woods. Ben Law’s images (he’s a Brit) remind me of the geography that your East Coast images represent. Love your poetic text that describes what you’ve captured and your experiences!
