  1. I noticed the same thing yesterday in Arkansas’s Ouachita National Forest. The spring is so fresh here that everything is leafed out, but nothing is damaged yet. It’s a glorious time.

  2. I just learned the meaning of verdant about ten years ago. Lived 70 years without it How many other beautiful words am I missing? I bet there are more words than verdant and
    emerald and olive and mint out there. Let’s investigate!
