  1. Just read a quotation* about how photography “explains man to man,” (Steichen),

    and your work does something similar for me but with reference to nature.

    It’s not that you explain nature, but your images get me thinking about it. e.g., this one brought to mind a certain religious theme. Not that you intended that result (or OK if you did), but still it happened–as with much good art, I believe. Sometimes it just surprises me more, like this beautiful photograph.
