Autumn brings this wistful feeling – “departing soon” says it well. A valued relationship whose end is in sight…
I know, parting with summer brings such sweet sorrow!
I finally explored whether dahlias will grow in Houston, and the answer is, “Yes, of course, you silly goose.” I can’t grow them, though, since they require six hours of sunlight each day, and I’m not sure I can offer them that. But I may give them a try — they’re beautiful, and this one is especially so.
Love the picture and sentiment.
Everything fits: colors, forms, location, words. Wonderful composition!
No escaping the beauty of natural change–a spark of joy, this one.
Lovely. Sad to think Autumn will be short lived, but nature is still colourful.
Very pretty 🙂
