My grandmother had a picking garden. It wasn’t as large as this, but it was prolific, and there was nothing more fun than being given permission to out and cut a bouquet for the house.
I do not have such a luscious garden as this but I carry a vivid memory of carrying home a huge armful of fresh basil which I purchased from the farmer’s market. Such is abundance.
Your words, along with the surprising image (I never knew about such gardens!) remind me that almost everywhere is a picking garden, if we are alert and take heartfuls as we go.
Beautiful flower garden and picture.
So inviting! If only I could set up my easel there.
Seedbud: Great shot…nice depth of field. I like the shadow effect in the trees also.

Love it! <3 My kind of candy shop!
I do not know where you get these beautiful pictures that fit so perfectly with your writings but they must be blessed by God Himself. jlehman1945
Wonderful!
It won’t be long now that the color fades….. but I will be down south!!
This is beautiful.
What a beautiful garden of fabulous flowers and colors!!! Thanks for sharing! 🙂
Very beautiful flowers.
Beautiful presentation of image and words. I can almost smell the flowers and hear the faint buzzing of happy bees.
The red of the barn contrasts nicely with the flowers.
Wish I was there…
