How evocative, both the photo and the words! Do you know the history of this bell?
It is located at one of the gardens I tend at a large estate which has been in a single family for generations. Another reader referred to it as a “Soleri bell”. It is located impossibly high in a very large tree. It could only have been hung by angels. 😉
