  1. maureenc – south east Queensland – Supposedly retired ,I fit my fabric and fibre fanaticism in with sharing my life with , family and friends and a few other activities My star sign is Cancer;I love being near the ocean and live on the shores of Moreton Bay in SEQ;I enjoy listening to music of many genre,but prefer instrumental to vocal; Reading....I always have a couple of books and magazines on the "go" simultaneously;

  3. derrickjknight – UK – I am an octogenarian enjoying rambling physically and photographing what I see, and rambling in my head as memories are triggered. I also ramble through a lifetime's photographs. In these later years much rambling is done in a car.

Lois – I am a writer living in the west of England; I have written fourrteen novels, my latest being 'Winterdyke' This is the latest of the seven Radwinter genealogical mysteries series, all available on Amazon - the eighth in the series due to appear in early summer. I have written seven other novels, a guide to writing, three stories for reluctant readers and two anthologies with other writers. All are available as eBooks and paperbacks.   11. pastpeter – Sometime Senior Scientist, sometime Senior Pastor, now senior citizen, happily retired and living once again on Long Island, New York – the place people always want to leave but always come back to. Our retirement years have taken Marian and me to mid-coast Maine (A Maine Winter), to the New Hampshire Lakes region (A New Hampshire Journal), and then back to Long Island, where we had spent the 17 “best years of our lives” (Past Pastoring). We loved the north country, but are so glad to be “Home” (Long Islanders).

    1. It has been an especially generous year for color. But I love too when the leaves are few with just a few dabs of color left and the winter’s landscape is emerging – all the gestures of the trees and the flow of the land. Be well Peter.

  18. Apple Hill Cottage – Renovating a little cottage in the country that's been in our families for years. Three years of renovating on weekends took its toll, and we moved in before it was finished. Yes, we knew the warnings… but still, we're here now and our adventures have changed a bit...

  21. LB – I'm a woman who loves spending time on the motorcycle and in, or on, any body of water. I love traveling and reading, baking and cooking, taking way too many pictures, and enjoying my family and friends. Life is an adventure, and I want to remember and express my joy for it! This is a journal for me ... so I'll never forget the good times and to remind me of them on more challenging days.

  23. camerapacker – Greenville, SC – I have been photographing since 1957. I am a retired pathologist, dedicated photographer, avid audiophile and occasional fisherman. I may comment on all of the above in my blog. My blogs will have photo graphic subjects I am currently experimenting with. I continue to teach photography at Furman University in the OLLI program. My classes include Photoshop skills and photo criticism.

  25. cathysrealcountrygardencom – France – I have a garden in France, which is not olive trees and jasmine, but much more like an English country garden. It is flowers and vegetables and wild bits and birds: not very big, but to me it is very beautiful.
