through the reeds
a road emerged
that seemed to lead to spring

Gorgeous image and words! Reeling in the after effects..
Have been thinking of a project that creates spaces for writers and artists who want to exchange spaces / host other artists.. Would love to hear your thoughts on it… https://asthaguptaa.wordpress.com/2016/02/01/the-15-exchange-for-artists/ 🙂
You keep putting up great images, my friend. If my physical condition allowed me to go outside in the winter I’d challenge you to a, “shoot off.”. although I would be at a disadvantage. 🙂
I can just hear those reeds crackle and snap as I harvest a few for a floor vase. I still have some red dogwood branches that evoke a certain Minnesota ditch — from four years ago.
When ever reading one of the greats,Shakespeare for example, I’m always fascinated by the power contained in a few masterfully chosen and carefully placed words. Some can impact us for a lifetime.
I think this is a concept you have given thought to as well.Congratulations on your 12.

What an evocative homage to the hope of spring.

Golden! They look like they’re waving hello.

Since I enjoy so many of your posts, I can no longer say THIS is my favorite one. So, this is on my FAVORITES list! Just wonderful.
You have a log of friends! That great!
A lovely concept!
Forget the road (for now). Those reeds–standing there, thin legs, lovely hair, such warmth.
Love the image, very nice!
Beautiful
Nice picture.
