  1. maureenc – south east Queensland – Supposedly retired ,I fit my fabric and fibre fanaticism in with sharing my life with , family and friends and a few other activities My star sign is Cancer;I love being near the ocean and live on the shores of Moreton Bay in SEQ;I enjoy listening to music of many genre,but prefer instrumental to vocal; Reading....I always have a couple of books and magazines on the "go" simultaneously;

  3. rimshaather – The streets of Lahore – Too high to settle, too low to battle. I'm a certified loser who can't even rhyme it right. Although they train me to be a cold, rational analyst, I do like to rebel a little by doodling whenever I can, even during the lectures. This blog is a platform for displaying those imaginative illustrations which come to my mind whenever I feel the balance between reason and imagination being disrupted by the former. Even though I am a crude artist who likes to experiment with various media, and quite muddily at times, the consolation is enough for me that at least I try. Carpe diem!

  15. maybepoet52 – LEEK, STAFFS – Humour shapes my life. As does poetry and language. I am also partial to an occasional dalliance with a lady. Zany and slightly twisted, with a toddlers honesty. I love to people-watch in Cafe's, park benches or anywhere for that matter. I write poetry and short stories because I love language and marvel at how it can move and inspire. Wife left, had breakdown, near fatal car crash. Sounds like the makings of a Country and Western song. I intersperse these creative bouts with rowing,cycling, theatre going and trips to the Cinema " A kiss from those lips, your fiercest whisper. A look from those eyes ignites my soul"
