Daily on my walks I have at least one moment where I just am with the trees and sky. It makes everything endless and I expand and refresh. This photo reminds me of the vastness and quiet of nature.
Gretchen, I know exactly what you mean about expanding and refreshing. I see the spirit of nature and her vastness and quiet and power in your artwork.
It looks like silence. Maybe there’s just the tiny noise of snow creaking under your boots. Do you have a dog? This scene would be wonderful to explore with a dog by your side. 🙂
nice concept
Seedbud: Beautifully composed…Great capture!
I also seek something so and often with the same no name.

That’s quite a reach for humans, even natives to a place, but well-worth trying.
John, it is a reach, but worth the try. Thanks for stopping by.
Beautiful serenity – ‘look without naming’ – I like that!
To name is to (try to) control-but mystery disappears, along with reverence. Your words and the image remind me of that.
Albert, thanks. _/\_

What’s so bad about naming things sometimes? Now the name for that might be OCD. Yikes!

Ruthie – I LOVE the idea of what silence looks like. I do have a dog and we wander the woods often. Have a great one.
