As beautiful as I remember. I lost you for awhile after my computer crashed, and it has taken me a long time to find you again, but I have always remembered your beautiful photography. Happy New Year.
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment! I love your work and am so inspired by your images. Wishing you all the best in 2015 and looking forward to seeing the beauty you create. Best, Catherine
Beautiful imagery and such supportive haiku. I long for just 30 minutes in this scene as the temperature outside climbs towards 41o C, thats about 112 o F. The wind is blowing up from the North and gusting at 60 knots with fires burning in rural areas. This is our summer here in Victoria Australia, how I long for a little sojourn in that Northern winter.
I would have never thought of lichen on granite as “warm” – but compared to your wire “holding” the cold, it truly seems that way. Lovely how you captured their essence.
Beautifully composed shot and perfect words
Happy new year to you
And thank you

I hope the winds die down and the fires die out. I’ll have many more ‘cooling’ images as your summer proceeds.
Love this – words and image.
Very beautiful view!

Something beautiful, but something harsh with the barbed wire…interesting capture.
Really like the pairing of this image and the poem. Well done.
Such a beautiful yet simple composition…the restraint holds the mood
