In Macedonia we call these flowers “kuce” that means dog because they are like dog’s mouth 😀

This takes me back to childhood in sunny California. Masses of snapdragons in the garden. Plucking the little dragon heads and ‘talking’ to each other via their snappy little jaws–as though they were little puppets! Such fun!
