To me, there is nothing more beautiful than seeing wild turkeys; why would anyone want to kill them? when there are so many other food alternatives that are not derived from blood and dead animals [corpses], chickens, fish, etc.
The roosters don’t look indifferent: they look unhappy; as are all caged animals.
What a handsome bird! Is he Ameracauna? (not sure about the spelling of that breed). Sorry that certain readers seem to be a bit judgmental without really knowing what they are talking about….
