A wonderful image, that reminds me of Eliot’s “Burnt Norton”, especially this:
Garlic and sapphires in the mud
clot the bedded axle tree…
We move above the moving tree
In light upon the figured leaf
And hear upon the sodden floor
Below, the boarhound and the boar
Pursue their pattern as before
But reconciled among the stars.
Delicious ….
wow
And here is south east Queensland we are also welcoming MUD after a summer drought
So glad you hear you’ve got some rain!
Beautiful ‘earthy’ leaf.
Very nice

Thank YOU for this poetry gift this morning!
Happy spring!
Love the ‘glorious mud’. Jane
Oh the dreaded mud! Sure felt grateful for galoshes yesterday.
Spring is on its way! Beautiful image! The sparkles of reflected light diminish the dreary, messiness of mud.
Interesting view.
And soon, the first green blades of grass!
Lovely!
The remnants of autum.
Amen!
Just beautiful!
Loved your snowy posts but hope Spring is on its way!
