Okay, I had to take another look, and I saw this … This image connects with my favorite winter outings: the trees bordering the creek (or river); the unseen trail through the trees, and the creek stilled by the winter (to use your word “still”. I want to reblog this one, but on my other blog … Wilder Man on Rolling Creek Trail. Peace, T
Gosh! Hard to believe that is the river. It looks like a pathway or trail.
Looks like a trout stream I used to fish in Colorado.
What lovely imagery x
Ooh, I like this one a lot. Very nice! Blessings, Natalie 🙂

My soul travels the river.
Lovely, looks so peaceful.
Makes me long for Vermont.
Beautiful!
Tranquillity and texture!
Gorgeous as usual! 🙂
Beautiful – both the photo and poem!

So beautiful and peaceful. I feel like I’m taking a walk after a snowfall.
Beauty in word and deed.
