Great picture! Nice interpretation.
Beautiful; lovely marriage of words and image.
When I look up close the little leaves look like knitting stitches.
Oh YES! Knitting stitches!!
Great photo! Emphasising the UNCERTAINTY of Spring:
I would like to ‘like’ many of your posts as they show up on my blogsite and bring more people to see your quite wonderful photographs. Is it possible to set that up?
Hi Tim, because I like to keep the look of the blog simple and clean I don’t have the like button with each post. But if you are a wordpress user you should see a like button at the top of the page on the left hand side of the wordpress toolbar. Although other readers have mentioned that it seems to mysteriously come and go. Who knows why?! Thanks for asking – and visiting.
Thank you and thanks for the photographs you put up
I have that ‘like’ button on my WordPress toolbar, but can’t see it on yours. I’ll just have to keep the photos to myself or share. Perhaps it’s becasue we are on different continents!
Lovely, the words and picture are full of anticipation, beautiful x
I love the hint of intentionality here. And, it’s a beautiful photo.
What a great way of seeing this.
They remind me of the ones that grew juts outside my back door in another life. Thank you for this great shot. V.
Beautiful picture but they almost look like parrot heads. Do you see that?
I do now that you pointed it out! thanks.
These are so lovely, cute in fact 🙂

Aren’t they just fascinating? I loved seeing them as we walked through the woods this weekend!

so perfect with your choice of words
How beautiful. Those ferns must surely be heralds of spring – a welcome sight after that snow, I’m sure.
Love this – thanks for sharing 🙂
Excellent choice of verb … “exclaiming” …
