This garden celebrates
black eyed susan as the queen of summer flowers
by giving her a crown.

Beautiful.
You should compile all of your poems into a book… I would buy it!
Golden beauties
So much gold in high summer!
delicate beauty ..
I had to do a double take before I actually saw the crown, and I said to myself….Oh Wow!! good one!
I love the crown !
I love it, too – but I want to know more about the crown – did you make it? It’s wonderful. I like the simple format of your blog – the square photo accompanied by a few lines. Very nice!
I didn’t. This is a photo I took at the “song garden” http://www.songgardenflowerfarm.blogspot.com It is a magical place. I think the crown might be a wrought iron headboard for a bed… Thanks for stopping by 🙂
I have some of these-so lovely these time of year-nice photo. beebee
I am seeing them everywhere – beautiful reminder that autumn will soon be here. 🙂
I love these flowers & they do not grow where I live now. Thanks for sharing.
Black-eyed Susans are wonderful. Your picture captures them in glorious balance with the “crown”. And the words punctuate the feeling of exultation that a scene like this stirs in a person.
