I am currently living in a forest enjoying the spring light similar to these natural ladies… seasonal calypso orchids!
I bet those a fantastic!! We a woodland orchid which will arrive later “Lady Slippers”.

This is the local ‘common name” for these tiny spring ephemerals. Houstonia caerulea is a delicate native perennial wildflower also known as azure bluets, innocence, or simply bluets.
