  2. clcouch123 – In conversation, I prefer Christopher. My mom named me after Christopher Robin, after all. In writing, I use “C L Couch” (or, more simply, “c l couch”) because the form is genderless and also frankly easier to use. I have awful writer’s cramp. I am an educator more or less retired, more or less due to disability. At present, I live in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania (USA). My writing here I mean to be occasional and also devotional.     If you’re on the A.T., I hope it’s going well. The trail goes through here as well. I’ve walked some parts a little. Be safe. The photograph is attractive by way of color and texture, and the stairs certainly do represent relief.

    1. Thanks CL. Actually I just happen to live by several AT trail heads – so I get to dip in and out and be home in time for a lovely afternoon nap with the dog.

  4. Allan J Jones – I have been involved in photography since my first darkroom back in the 1950's. Now that I'm retired, I have the time to focus on my images. My favorite activities are hiking, kayaking, backpacking, watching the sky and being out in nature.
