I’ve just read your “About” page, which is lovely. Thank you for your honesty and vulnerability.
I can only assume you are a reader of Mary Oliver.
May I ask where, roughly, you live? The rural, snowy landscape appeals to me as I consider end-of-life locations? I’d love woods to walk through, and also water.
Thanks Cate. Yes, I am a Mary Oliver devote. I live in Northern New Hampshire, in the Connecticut River Valley. It is very beautiful here. I love all the seasons – even as each makes its own demands.
Gorgeous images, visually and verbally. I absolutely love finding a brook that is starting to run free after being held prisoner by a long, cold winter.
Water in winter is so beautiful!
It is!…in all its forms.
Truly a joy to read these words accompanied by the lovely photo, Catherine.
thanks so much Jet!
How do some say? Go with the flow?
yes, go with the flow 🙂
the image is beautiful and feels, as you say, free; I guess it’s the combination of motion and stillness that gets to me; well-chosen title, too
thanks so much CL. I hope you are feeling better. I know it can be slow going.
