  1. Why is it bright and beautiful?! It’s ugly, wet and gray here in PA! 😅 Ugghhh. Feels like summer abandoned us this year. At least so far.

    1. We too have had a long stretch of rain and gloomy days. They are hard to get through. But it makes the sunshine all the sweeter when it arrives.

  2. clcouch123 – I prefer Christopher in conversation. In writing, I use C L Couch because it’s a genderless form of my name and, frankly, easier—I have severe writer’s cramp. I mean to be a poet writing spiritual and occasional verse. The photographs used permanently here—for the banner, for my profile—were taken by Debra Danielson, a photographer and friend. You may enjoy more of her work at debra.danielson.org. If you would credit me when quoting my work, I'd be thankful. As I am thankful for your presence here.

The photograph is effectively framed and hued. As is the text, which in a few words explains summer. The brightness of both photo and verse certainly get us to pay attention to these days.

So evocative of sleepy summer days. 😊

  4. What a beautiful sight! I was missing this kind of day all through the dreary winter we just went through in the North East. I’m so happy to have full sunshine and warmth back! ✨🌼✨
