Ah, yes, this is as it should be. It’s what I dream of all winter (a carefree and colourful summer), however, it is not that way this year, sadly; the wildfires are so enormous and from all directions that the air and sky are a horrid grey, ash on everything outside and it comes in through the windows too, muggy and scorching hot, and severe water restrictions, tress and shrubs all wilting and leaves falling already from the drought, animals in distress calling from the wildness nearby all day and night …it’s hard to sleep.
I’m not able to take my own photos anymore so I’m using old ones that I took from before or findng some on the net and hyperlinking them to the original source because of the heavy, acrid smoke.
how refreshing….
Evocative words and beautiful picture – thank you
nice
I wish the grass looked that lovely where I live. A brutal heat wave is showing no mercy.
Neat! Including the fence was a good idea.
Ohhhh, I wish I was in a spot to relish summer green and blooms. <3
I love Crown Vetch! So pretty!
You have chosen again to show such incredible loveliness in God’s beautiful creations. Praise to God, and thankfulness to you. jlehman1945
Very beautiful flower. Here is one I will share with you of my Crown Vetch I photographed awhile ago.

The canvas for your words was a very good one. The poetry “popped” as the flowers did in the photo. Loved it.
Crown vetch certainly does cavort, doesn’t it? 🙂
I’ve always wondered what this plant was called. Our state has it in more southern areas, planted along ditches and highway fences.
Such a name for a f lower with such loveliness. Peaceful place…
We have Vetch here in Virginia…I learned of it’s ‘proper’ name from my mother-in-law. Considered a weed here, I think it is lovely.
I do too. It is unruly – but that’s what meadows are for! 🙂
Serene.
Very beautiful flowers.
So pretty. Love wildflowers.
Just lovely! ~Rita
How idyllic! The landscape and the lines…

Like I said, this is how summer should be…
Such a sweet and serene photo!
