  1. heavenhappens – Welcome to my life. You can share my grown up world here at http://heavenhappens.me where I blog my thoughts, my life, my travels, my photographs and my poetry. Growing up just after the war was a grim experience. So, now that I have 7 grandchildren, I am reclaiming my childhood by seeing the world anew through their eyes. Every minute I spend with them is magical. So this blog is for them ~ Ben, Rosie, Tiffany, Stanley, Thea, Mateo, and the youngest, Olivia! I hope, when they are all grown up, they will enjoy reading it and finding out about their grandma’s life, and know how very happy they made her. I hope you enjoy reading my posts, leave a comment or a link and I will get back to you. I’m sorry to say that my darling husband died of Covid on Good Friday 2020. Since then the wind has gone out of my sails and I’ve hardly written a thing. I will try to pick up my life and start writing again one day. But for now please enjoy exploring my life🕊️

  2. Kentucky Angel – Owensboro, KY – I'm a somewhat normal, extremely old, grammy, living in Kentucky, and living with MS since the age of 15. Just turned 72, so that's a lot of years. I would tell you how many, but I flunked math, and numbers give me a headache, so I avoid them at all cost. I love to crochet, knit, scrapbook, cook and visit with friends in the lobby of the building I live in. Most of the time I have a sense of humor. Other times I don't. At one time I was a musician with a guitar, but after age and time, plus a few falls, I can no longer play my guitar, so it now lives with my son. Now I play the radio, always with perfect pitch. Well, almost always. Depends on the station or the CD I'm listening to. I try to find something to laugh about every day, another way to get thru each boring day without picking my nose in public.

Very pretty. I love fields of wildflowers.

  3. derrickjknight – UK – I am an octogenarian enjoying rambling physically and photographing what I see, and rambling in my head as memories are triggered. I also ramble through a lifetime's photographs. In these later years much rambling is done in a car.

I usually see your consistently beautiful posts on my phone and don’t have the means to comment – but want to take this occasion when I’m on a computer to say how much my days are enhanced by your photos and words. Thank you for your positive contribution to my days.

  11. 2ndhalfolife – In the second (or really third?) half of my life now. Moving into the more crone stage: out of my head, into my soul. My magic is returning after many years of having lost it to the streets of life. There have been some very dark times, but these have made my journey rich with the stuff of possibility. Because out of darkness has come the glittering beauty of illumination. It has come with struggle and toil, and not without help--but I am here, and I am mostly in tact, and I'm here to share the rest of this journey with you all if you care to join me.......

    Some of my favorites!

  12. LB – I'm a woman who loves spending time on the motorcycle and in, or on, any body of water. I love traveling and reading, baking and cooking, taking way too many pictures, and enjoying my family and friends. Life is an adventure, and I want to remember and express my joy for it! This is a journal for me ... so I'll never forget the good times and to remind me of them on more challenging days.
