  2. AngieG9 – Owensboro, KY, USA – I'm a somewhat normal person who happens to have MS, therefore my blog name "A Train Wreck Looking For A Home". I try to keep a sense of humor about everything in life, including the times when I run into the walls or bang my head on the furniture, and can always depend on my kids to keep me centered. MS has changed my life, but when I'm in remission life goes on as always. And what a life it is! I'm in my golden years and still looking for the gold, but it's not a bad trip.

  5. Divya – Oxford, MS – Photography is my newly found hobby. I never realized my interest in photography even though I have been taking photos since my childhood with a point and shoot or some phone cameras. Now that I have DSLR I want to pursue it seriously.

Peaceful view of this amazing landscape.

  7. simon7banks – Harwich, UK – I write poems and stories, often mystical or fantastical. I believe very strongly that poetry is an art of the spoken word, so the sound of the words is important: so please say my poems aloud, if only in your head. I live in the U.K., in Harwich, Essex, but have worked in Kenya and Finland, and travelled to many other places. This is my literary blog. I'm also a Liberal Democrat political activist, birder, long-distance trail walker, real ale drinker and Quaker.

  8. The Lunchtime Naturalist – SouthEastern Michigan – I've been working (and making $) as Naturalist or Interpreter since January of 2012. I work at 3 different nature centers in the Metro-Detroit / SouthEastern Michigan area. Every day at lunch I take get to take a walk, my green-time is what keeps me human. If I don't walk outside at lunch, I always walk my best friend, Wally the Rhodesian Ridgeback, when I get home from work. Before that, I did two amazing internships. One at an outdoor center in Blanefield, Scotland. This was an Adventure Ed centre involved with Scouting. I led activities like climbing on a 50 ft tower, abseiling, para drop, team building exercises... In my spare time I enjoyed the hill walking the Many Many nearby (and faraway) hills and participating in the local pub quizzes. Another at a Nature Preserve in Rochester, Michigan. I designed and taught lessons, field trips, scout outings and other fun classes for primarily ages 2 - 9, but also taught ages 9 - 90. Field trips and specialty classes, like scouts, were (and are) my specialty. Before that, I rocked out a degree. I went to Central Michigan University for a degree in Recreation, Parks, & Leisure Services Administration with a concentration in Outdoor and Environmental Recreation (when I started it was O&E Education). I actually never took the Interpretation class (doh!), but I do know how to make a proper lesson plan. I studied mostly Adventure Ed, but also did outdoor and environmental ed classes.

  10. kanzensakura – Eccentric, mystical, practical, wicked humor that is not always....sane. I look at the world from a different perspective. I'm an uncommon mashup of South meets East...magnolia and cherry blossoms, fried chicken and sushi, haiku and bluegrass. I was born into an old, eccentric Southern family; not the dark Faulkneresgue kind family, more like the Addams family with a drawl. Poet, ex-chef, perpetual student of life, writer, romantic yet pragmatic. I love sci fi, fantasy, Star Trek (I have several uniforms from engineering services), New Orleans, and my southern heritage. I've worked as a bartender, freelance food stylist and photographer, autopsy photographer, chef and escaped from that to cook food I love for people I love, social worker, infrastructure engineer and lately, into pharmacy. A true Scorpio, I seem to re-invent myself every few years as life dictates. I worte my first haiku when I was six and have a long, deep love of Japan. I've traveled extensively all over the US and Canada, UK, Europe, Asia. I went to Woodstock and don't remember a thing! Particle physics and origami make me smile. Guided equally by Bushido and the 10 Commandments. I am a firm believer that it is important to always be kind but it isn't always important to be right. I have started a new poetry only blog: Aki no Koe - voice of autumn. Blessings and grins to you all!

This looks like one of those lovely paintings by artists of years ago.

  11. LB – I'm a woman who loves spending time on the motorcycle and in, or on, any body of water. I love traveling and reading, baking and cooking, taking way too many pictures, and enjoying my family and friends. Life is an adventure, and I want to remember and express my joy for it! This is a journal for me ... so I'll never forget the good times and to remind me of them on more challenging days.
    LB says:

I’d love to know where this is, if you are comfortable sharing. It looks so much like my own New River Valley in Virginia
