Beautiful colours. The warm naples yellow sky and still bare trees reminds me of a Tom Thompson painting

  2. @ablanccanvas – Canada – Been on this planet for awhile and right now I am on a creative exploration. There are no rules. I am a blanc canvas. I am all about living [thinking] creatively.
    Christine says:

I’m ‘no’ Tom Thomson, but I think I will have to paint this. So, so, beautiful! So glad you captured this.

  3. Helen DeRamus Artist – Marietta – I am a fine artist working in oil paint and creating drawings on paper. My primary medium is oil paint on cradled wood using cold wax medium. Work on paper, using India Ink and graphite is a major part of my practice. Drawings lead me to the development of ideas and though the drawings may stand alone, they also lead to larger work in oil. The smaller drawings are often used as an inspiration of larger drawings. My paintings are about all the visual scraps, translucent bits and pieces, and the neuronal fragments found in the layers of memory. Using the landscape as a metaphor, the paintings are excavated from my personal memories. Throughout the United States and Canada, I have paintings, prints, photographs, and works on paper included in corporate, public and private collections including: Jacksonville State University, Ventyx Corporation, Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta, Georgia Perimeter College, North Georgia College and State University, The ART Station, the Ben Hill-Fitzgerald County Library, the Women's Center at Kennestone Hospital, the Atlanta Women's Foundation in Atlanta, Georgia, and Livingston College at Rutgers University in New Jersey. I am represented in Atlanta, Georgia by TEW Galleries, in Homestead, Alabama by Art Alley and In Saugatuck, Michigan by ROAN & BLACK contemporary gallery. My studio is located in the Artisan Resource Center in Marietta, Georgia a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia.

I would love to sit out here and relax as the sun goes down soaking in God’s beauty! Beautiful photo!

  5. Gretchen O'Donnell – Minnesota – I grew up at the top of a 90ft. cliff, in Washington state, within sight of eagles, whales, Mt. Baker, and Canada. I quickly learned that I don't have one artistic bone in my body...except when it comes to words. I learned that I can make people smile with my writing. Finally, at age 41, with years spent in Oregon, Berlin, Germany, and now Minnesota, I'm ready for more than just my family and friends to read my words.
    Gretchen O'Donnell says:

Truly lovely! (And even better becuase I like short poems). 🙂

  6. Pen – United States – A self-published author and longtime HS patient, I refuse to be unproductive. I spend as much time as possible writing, caring for my 90 year old mother with dementia, my two feline kids, and raising awareness about HS.

  7. pastorpete51 – My wife and I serve as members of a worship team at a multicultural church. Our members are from Brazil, Nepal and the U.S.. Because of the many languages and cultures in our local body we face unique challenges, such as how many songs will we do in English today? What new songs can we use in either language that are simple enough for the people to sing. The songs, the devotions and insights here are a small portion of some of the ways God is leading us as we push towards the goal. I pray that these will be both a blessing and an encouragement for those of you who may pass by Praise 2 Worship.

There is a dirt road where I used to walk the dogs that had almost this same exact view but I could never capture the way it really looked with a camera. Thanks for sharing!

  8. M. – Since I was little I liked to visualize and create things. Painting with watercolors is what makes me happy now. That, and spending time gardening and reading. I love long walks, biking, and the beach.

  9. mrsjacoby19 – I'm a Shreveport Native. One of my life's love, is the love of writing poetry. I particularly like to write realistic poetry. Poetry that deals with everyday life. Poetry that dives into the emotions, as well as the psyche of a person. Some topics may include, love as it partains to, relationships. Whether that be, marital, co-habitating,parental, spiritual, etc. This is my passion and I embrace it whole heartedly.

  10. Dr. Denny Wilkins – Dr. Denny Wilkins professes journalism at a small, private university in the Northeast. He has climbed, hiked, kayaked, photographed, skied, and otherwise meandered aimlessly throughout the American West for decades. He has degrees in geology, environmental studies, and communication — and has tried to make use of them as a co-founder of the progressive cultural blog ScholarsandRogues.com. He’s broadly interested in how the world works and why it works that way. He hates writing, although he does like having written well.
    Dr. Denny says:

“embers of memories” … what a wonderful image.

  11. whitefeatherfloating – When I began this blog I was simply going to share my writing. However, after being part of the blogging world for quite some time now, I decided to begin sharing my artwork. Patsy's Creative Corner will always have my artwork. Thanks for visiting! :)

When I clicked on the photo, it enlarged and looked just like an impressionistic painting!

  14. restlessjo – Hi! I’m Jo! Johanna when I’m feeling posh, Jan to my Dad, and Joasiu to my Polish family. A bit of a mix-up, that’s me. The one constant, however, is my restless nature. I love to travel and to explore our world. It doesn’t have to be the big wide world. I can be ridiculously happy not too far from home, so long as I’m seeking new horizons. Of course I have a wish list, and it was to help me fulfil my dreams that I started to write travel guides for a venture called Simonseeks. I’d always kept a travel diary, and it was hugely satisfying to share my experiences and to make new friends who shared my passion for travel. Alas, Simonseeks hit a few troubles, but I still find myself writing about my travels. I’ve become addicted. I’d love to share them, and to make more friends. So, it has to be a blog- right? Or do I mean- write?

    Love the colours! 🙂
