Interesting! I posted similar images a while back of the same kind of fungus. My children called the tree the pancake tree when we would drive by. One of my sons actually did a science project on it. Fun facts! Nature truly is amazing!
We have these where I live. I have heard you can eat them…but I am too afraid to try. I don’t trust myself to figure out which can or can not be eaten! Though I do like the picture! Really nice shot.
I have not see a fungi flower in years. It reminds me of my boyhood days. Thanks so much for sharing.
Wow great pic of the fungi!!
So that’s what these are? I have photos of them as well because I thought they were so cool! Nice shot, love you interesting angles in this one.
That is very cool
Great photo! I was moved by fungi at my site, too. 🙂

‘pancake tree’ – love that!
I always see fungi as a continuation of life as well…
thank you for such a lovely photo. Wonderful colors of another tiny miracle of our world.
Exceptional photo of one of nature’s unappreciated marvels. Thank you!
Lovely pic I have one that’s similar next to local stream/beck
Cool! Excellent photo and thought.
Hi gorgeous photo, we have a very similar if not the same one in the rainforests in tropical Australia.
Love the title — “Wood Blossoms”. 🙂
