  1. I like this, it reminds of North Yorkshire near Hardwood not far from where I live. I was there this morning and the trees are in the same state of undress and the sky and clouds were the same. Nice one.

  2. This brings back wonderful memories of my homeland. In my youth I used to marvel at the corn as it would rise from the clay soil and grow taller than I. It sounds simple but to a young boy experiencing life amidst surrounding farmlands it became much more than idle curiosity. I would walk between the rows, somehow comforted in its hiding…my mother had fits unable to see me on occasion…the adventure became well worth the periodic scolding afterward!
