I love lichen! What a great shot! Sometimes people forget to notice how beautiful they are. There are a lot in my area, they grow on logs and sticks and even in the live trees as well as on stone. Yours is prettier than any I’ve taken the time to enjoy.
There’s a tradition in some schools of photography and short writing that are founded in seeing the ordinary in new, wonderful ways. And you’ve done that here, I’m glad to say.
