  1. davidoakesimages – DERBYSHIRE. UK – Freelance Photographer and lover of the Countryside and Wildlife.I gained my Photographic qualifications in Manchester and then started my career as a Photographer with a North West Regional Newspaper. From there I moved onto an Engineering Company then a Publishing Group. This appointment created an interest in Sales and Marketing a disipline into which I moved. 25 years in Sales, Marketing and General Management at Director level with market leading and multi-national Publishers was both exciting and fun. But like most things, a time for a change came along and I opted to start my own Freelance Photographic business and Photo Library. We specialise in Landscape, Travel and Heritage plus photographic reviews of new Canal Boats for the magazine of that name....a great way to earn a living whilst having fun. More oftern than not I have Carla our Director of Greetings and Buster our Head of Security with me, both like to chat and the occasional biscuit will bond any friendship....just don't touch the Nikon's..

    Simply nice 😄

  2. Jet Eliot – Northern California – Weekly posts are original essays, photos, and anecdotes on lively creatures and interesting places I have befriended around the world.

    Lovely words, Catherine, thought-provoking.

  3. clcouch123 – In conversation, I prefer Christopher. My mom named me after Christopher Robin, after all. In writing, I use “C L Couch” (or, more simply, “c l couch”) because the form is genderless and also frankly easier to use. I have awful writer’s cramp. I am an educator more or less retired, more or less due to disability. At present, I live in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania (USA). My writing here I mean to be occasional and also devotional. Either or both. The banner and profile photographs are by my friend and peer Debra Danielson. More of Debbie’s work to be enjoyed is at debradanielson.org. Thanks to each of you and both and all for coming to my blog.

striking photograph, surreal but real; I’m also drawn to the line “winter’s cold fidelity,” beautifully ironic

  4. Garden Bliss – Australia – An updated crabandfishgarden blog featuring our one-acre cold zone mountain garden in Victoria, Australia. Join me on a new journey to find your own garden bliss.

Wonderful and such a different landscape to ours.

  5. judybarton – Still in love, complicated, almost stupid, interested to recognize herself. "Up to the age of eighteen years old everybody writes poems; after, only two categories of people may continue to do it: poets and idiots." (Benedetto Croce). Obviously I do not consider myself a poet.

    Simply beautiful!
