  1. Tom – St. Louis, Missouri – I have been a lay chaplain in maximum security prisons in Missouri for more than 21 years, and I enjoy reading, writing, blogging, and being outdoors: working, walking, hiking, fishing, and just being in the North Woods whenever I can. Oh, and music, lots of music.

    love the Soleri bell

    1. It is located at one of the gardens I tend at a large estate which has been in a single family for generations. Another reader referred to it as a “Soleri bell”. It is located impossibly high in a very large tree. It could only have been hung by angels. 😉

  2. suewoodskye – Isle of Skye – "Love Skye-Love Nature-Love Life" My name is Sue Wood and I have lived on the Isle of Skye for 30 years. The island is my inspiration for my poetry books and children's books. The Isle of Skye has dramatic mountains, wild glens and amazing seascapes; it offers a varied wilderness for free spirits. There is an abundance of hidden places full of native trees, wildflowers and wildlife to enjoy, in peace and tranquility. This sensational Island changes constantly through the seasons, with wild Atlantic storms, snowy mountains and balmy Summer nights with spectacular skies. The Summer wildflowers provide a colourful feast for insects, which feed the many species of songbirds, both native and Summer visitors.
