This is a quaint little scene! I wonder what the short fence was trying to keep out (or in), or maybe just decorative. Anyway, i really like the picture and the poem.
perhaps just a little marker for the eye…as it keeps nothing in or out 😊 or maybe it was built so a parent could say “don’t go past the fence”…
