That looks very similar to south-east Queensland’s thundery and stormy skies

  2. Cate – Colorado – Cate is a recovering journalist and sometimes runner who lives with exceptional cats and chickens in the Colorado Rockies. She frequently wonders what life is all about and involuntarily practices the sacred art of not knowing.
    Cate says:

Gorgeous light, and an apt observation.

  3. chelawriter – I thought retirement would give me more time to write, but as with may others, my experience of retirement so far is that it is far busier than my employment years. Two wild fires with evacuations and extensive damage to my home have not helped. Repairs are almost complete, and fingers crossed things will settle down so I can post more often.

Last glimpse of sun provided by dying grasses.

  4. Even though the bright trees are in front, an inner darkness keeps me looking at the sky. And what is that sleeping creature looming just behind the unsuspecting leaves? (If it were a word, my title would be OMINY, but I like yours better.)

    1. I think that looming creature may be winter. Woke up to snow this morning. Just a little. It is nipping at my heels as some of my bulbs to be planted have not even arrived yet. I think I might like OMINY better.

  5. LucciaGray – Spain – Writer, blogger, teacher, reader and lover of words wherever they are. Author of The Eyre Hall Trilogy, the breathtaking sequel to Jane Eyre. Luccia lives in sunny Spain, but her heart's in Victorian London.

    Beautiful pictures and poems ♥️
