Such a beautiful description of such a natural habitat. I really admire your eye for photographic detail.

  2. judybarton – Still in love, complicated, almost stupid, interested to recognize herself. "Up to the age of eighteen years old everybody writes poems; after, only two categories of people may continue to do it: poets and idiots." (Benedetto Croce). Obviously I do not consider myself a poet.

mmm …. interesting and nice words. I spent some time to translate them into Italian without success because I cannot translate your hard headed crown.
Indeed the second verse twirls of curly moss sounds very nice into Italian:
    ghirigori di muschio riccio

  3. amusingword – I miss my cat... I am now an older woman ready to retire. I'm first and foremost an avid reader who loves to eat a meal with a book propped up on my trusty BOOK CHAIR. I even read when I brush my teeth, I guess it's my one true life long obsession. I've always been a curious soul. I Love music although I've walked away from the obsession of it, now I just enjoy it now and then! My mind is full of questions to ask about anything that looks interesting. I consider myself eccentric and somewhat paranoid.

Nice poem.. It looks like an animal with mange missing tufts of fur.

  4. Tom's Nature-up-close Photography and Mindfulness Blog – My Blog primarily consists of close-up nature photos (that I've taken locally) combined with original holistic-truth oriented prose and/or poetry involving mindfulness/awareness. I love nature and I love understanding the whole (not merely the parts and the details). I'm a retired teacher of the multiply handicapped. I have a number of interesting hobbies, such as fossil collecting, sport-kite flying, 3D and 2D close-up photography, holography, and pets. Most of all, I am into holistic self-awareness, spontaneous insight, unconventional observation/direct perception, mindfulness, meditation, world peace, non-fragmentation, population control, vegetarianism, and green energy. 5. Robyn Haynes – Australia – Robyn enthusiastically pursues a green and writerly life on the north coast of New South Wales, Australia, where her background as a doctor of social anthropology equips her with an interesting slant on the human condition. She spends much time indulging a passion for her garden where she ponders life and attempts to stave off existential angst. In her more reflective moments she makes wry observations on courtyard gardening and its parallels with life.

Love it! Food looks delicious too.

Whoops! Ignore the food reference unless you’re a critter.
