  1. derrickjknight – UK – I am an octogenarian enjoying rambling physically and photographing what I see, and rambling in my head as memories are triggered. I also ramble through a lifetime's photographs. In these later years much rambling is done in a car.

  2. Tom's Nature-up-close Photography and Mindfulness Blog – My Blog primarily consists of close-up nature photos (that I've taken locally) combined with original holistic-truth oriented prose and/or poetry involving mindfulness/awareness. I love nature and I love understanding the whole (not merely the parts and the details). I'm a retired teacher of the multiply handicapped. I have a number of interesting hobbies, such as fossil collecting, sport-kite flying, 3D and 2D close-up photography, holography, and pets. Most of all, I am into holistic self-awareness, spontaneous insight, unconventional observation/direct perception, mindfulness, meditation, world peace, non-fragmentation, population control, vegetarianism, and green energy. 4. mojoshawn – USA – I'm an active person who enjoys camping, kayaking, and hiking, whenever I find time. I watch football and baseball, play golf poorly but with enthusiasm, dig all types of music and movies, and technology. Being a positive person is important to me, and I only surround myself with others who feel the same way.

  7. Barbara Gurry/rowell – St. Petersburg, Fl – I am Barbara, a fine artist. I am currently working on a series that encompasses exploring and drawing birds. My fasination with these quirky creatures began gradually while watching them from the shoreline. The more I watched them the more I was intriqued. I love drawing them freehand with pen, ink and watercolor. I continue to learn endless amounts of information about them and work to incorporate their frivalus uniqueness into my work. I hope to bring attention to their beauty, joyfullness and fragility.
    Barbara Gurry/rowell says:

    I love your poems!!!

  8. mrsjacoby19 – I'm a Shreveport Native. One of my life's love, is the love of writing poetry. I particularly like to write realistic poetry. Poetry that deals with everyday life. Poetry that dives into the emotions, as well as the psyche of a person. Some topics may include, love as it partains to, relationships. Whether that be, marital, co-habitating,parental, spiritual, etc. This is my passion and I embrace it whole heartedly.

  9. 2ndhalfolife – In the second (or really third?) half of my life now. Moving into the more crone stage: out of my head, into my soul. My magic is returning after many years of having lost it to the streets of life. There have been some very dark times, but these have made my journey rich with the stuff of possibility. Because out of darkness has come the glittering beauty of illumination. It has come with struggle and toil, and not without help--but I am here, and I am mostly in tact, and I'm here to share the rest of this journey with you all if you care to join me.......

I am glad to say that even my north side is finally melted…with a little help of me chopping away….

  10. firefly1275 – Louisiana – V. Rose enjoys creating mystical characters and worlds, with a touch of the modern day world. When she is not writing or thinking up her next story ideas, she is enjoying South Louisiana sunsets.

    Very nice and beautiful!

  11. NatureSpeak Photos – I take photos of nature as an amateur. That being so, I prefer not to edit the photos so that they retain their "naturalness". These photos, even though silent, tell us volumes about life, principles, ethics and harmony. Silence and nature; so much to experience, so much to learn...

Lovely thought… the fragility of that fence is so visible and yet it is protecting the even more fragile cold… Beautiful 🙂
