  1. Aggie – Southern Arizona, USA – Life is an excellent adventure! My husband, Lou, and I have built an off grid homestead, including rainwater collection, solar power, and passive solar earthbag tiny home. I do bookkeeping, and we also make and market BathyDerm, an herbal bath tincture that is good for the skin and fades age spots.

    Lucky you!

  2. janaline's world journey – I am addicted to travelling and have been exploring the world for nearly two decades. Here I share my travel stories and pictures so that you can share in some of the amazing experiences I have along the way. When you travel you experience the culture and get to know the people of a country. Once you step out of your comfortzone you get to know the real country and experience it in a different way than ordinary tourists. My camera usually accompanies me everywhere I go so you can "see" and read about my journeys.

  4. penpusherpen – England.... – I like to write in my spare time, poems and short stories mainly. Time flies so quickly but I do try and write when the mood takes me. I love walking, (along the nearby Canal Paths, the Local Woods and anywhere that stirs the imagination) reading, (Science Fiction mainly) watching films (Johnny Depp orientated usually), Gardening, (when I can fit it in, weeds seem to grow like wildfire)..and I believe that you make your own path through this life, so plant flowers as you go and brighten your way..
    penpusherpen says:

Jealousy, thou art a harsh mistress. Sigh, such a place is the stuff of dreams. (mine!!) xx

  5. anotherday2paradise – Durban South Africa and Florida USA – I enjoy writing about absolutely anything, and started blogging with WordPress in 2012. This was my 'Hammock Lady' blog, and I really enjoyed sharing my travels here: http://adinparadise.wordpress.com/ In November 2013, I decided it was time for a change of scenery, so I started my blog afresh, and here it is. I love to travel, and have been fortunate enough to do two round-the-world trips and visit more than forty countries so far. This year we visited our 7th continent, Antarctica. I enjoy photographing wildlife, especially in my backyard in Florida. I was born and brought up in England. My husband and I emigrated to South Africa in 1970. We now live in Florida, USA. I have a son and a daughter and five gorgeous grandchildren currently aged between 6 and 21 years. I'm so happy that you've taken the time to visit my blog, and would love for you to join me on my travels. Sylvia.

When she visited, many years ago, my mother was cowed and intimidated by the open skies, vistas and mountains that surround me. But for me they are, as your lovely photo suggests – a refuge. I cannot imagine living elsewhere, now. Your pictures continue to be a delightful start to my days.
