  1. M. – Since I was little I liked to visualize and create things. Painting with watercolors is what makes me happy now. That, and spending time gardening and reading. I love long walks, biking, and the beach.

  2. heavenhappens – Welcome to my life. You can share my grown up world here at http://heavenhappens.me where I blog my faith, my thoughts, my life, my travels, my photographs and my poetry. Growing up just after the war was a grim experience. So, now that I have 7 grandchildren, I am reclaiming my childhood by seeing the world anew through their eyes. Every minute I spend with them is magical. So this blog is for them ~ Ben, Rosie, Tiffany, Stanley, Thea, Mateo, and the youngest, Olivia! I hope, when they are all grown up, they will enjoy reading it and finding out about their grandma’s life, and know how very happy they made her. I hope you enjoy reading my posts, leave a comment or a link and I will get back to you. I’m sorry to say that my darling husband died of Covid on Good Friday 2020. Since then the wind has gone out of my sails and I’ve hardly written a thing. I will try to pick up my life and start writing again one day. But for now please enjoy exploring my life🕊️

I love the sunlight streaming through those trees even though the ground is frosty. We had a hard frost this morning but it gradually warmed up thank goodness. Lovely words too x

  3. estramer – Truckee, CA, USA – Eva is an award-winning watercolor artist born in Denmark. She moved to California in 1988 where she lived on the Monterey Peninsula for 20 years before relocating to Truckee, California in the High Sierras in 2010. Originally Eva started painting with watercolors because she wanted to be able to paint little sketches as part of her travel journals. Since then Eva says she has completely fallen in love with this fluid and expressive medium. She strives to convey different moods and motifs using bold colors and unique compositions in her luminous paintings. Nature is her inspiration, color is her passion. Over the last 10 years Eva has dedicated as much time as her busy life allows exploring and learning from many different teachers and mentors. She is currently represented by a number of galleries in California. In 2009-10 she spent 5 months as an artist in residence at Mendocino Art Center, which started her career as an art instructor. She strives to create an environment where students feel free to experiment and explore their creativity. Eva is teaching art workshops in the Tahoe & Reno area. Please check her website www.beautyonlocation.com for current workshop schedule.

A great photo. Light and shadow add depth and I love the lines the trees and shadows create. Hugs, Barbara

  5. Dreamah H. Lockwood – Dreamah H. Lockwood is a pseudonym I use in memory of my sister who died in 2012. Ohio is my home with four cats and two dogs, all rescues. An author, artist, and veteran, I served in the USAF for five years and studied creative writing in college. Books with an unusual twist, romantic ghost stories, romantic suspense, and a series of ghostly crime fiction are my chosen genre.

    Shadows, trees, and cold…..very evocative….

  7. Dr. Denny Wilkins – Dr. Denny Wilkins professes journalism at a small, private university in the Northeast. He has climbed, hiked, kayaked, photographed, skied, and otherwise meandered aimlessly throughout the American West for decades. He has degrees in geology, environmental studies, and communication — and has tried to make use of them as a co-founder of the progressive cultural blog ScholarsandRogues.com. He’s broadly interested in how the world works and why it works that way. He hates writing, although he does like having written well.
    Dr. Denny says:

    Indeed. The cold is persistent.
