I do like ravens. I have books about their intelligence, and that of crows. To some Amerindian people they are propitiatory beings. It was Poe that gave them a bad name based on medieval superstitions.

Why is the raven in captivity? Is he/she being cared for by a wildlife rehabilitator? I hope so.
This raven is at the avian rehabilitation center at the Vermont Institute of Natural Sciences.
