As a native So. Cal. girl having lived in the Pacific NW for 20+ years, I still resist the colder (and wetter) winter weather, but seeing snow as an art form appeals to me. Its pristine images like what you’ve shared with us in the snow white glove is truly Lovely!
Nice! This one really grabs at my attention!
I think they’re clapping…
This is just so beautiful I had to share it – thanks for dropping by my blog 🙂
beautiful i can see your inspiration in the photo.
What an eerie photo.
Yes, even winter becomes weary of itself and gropes for spring.
As soon as I saw this lovely photo I knew it would be the perfect illustration for a story I’m getting ready to write on my blog, _Tell Me Another_, called “The Sugar Snow,” about our family’s experiences with maple sugaring. Would you give me permission to use it–with credit to you and the link to your blog, of course?
absolutely. I’m honored.
I’m delighted! Thank you very much; the honor will be mine. I’ll let you know as soon as I’ve written it.
Great. I’m looking forward to reading it.

Thank you so much for the nomination. I am honored. But because I like to keep the look of the blog simple I don’t do the process. But thank you for sharing me with your readers and for the honor and encouragement of the nomination. Best, Seedbud

Lovely shot. It really is reaching. This winter has damaged many trees here and they must all be hoping spring will soon be here.
