Love old barns and the houses that are sometimes around. Beautiful shot.
Your posts warm my heart each day. Observation and imagination definitely show us poetry in nature. And you express it beautifully. Thank you for the quite introspective moment you provide. Laura
Castle of the Wind! When our kids were small there was a place just like this that we would often pass on our walks. We always referred to it as the Castle of the Wind. Wonderful memories came surging back with this image!

There is something so poignant about an old timber shelter, never used. Beautiful photo.

Thank you. I not very fast, but when I do give it a try I will share. 🙂
what a beautiful yet sad building – very nicely done.
Makes me miss New England. Hawaiian buildings don’t get this far – they crumble under the onslaught of tiny little wood-eating insects.
I love barns as well! Lovely.
Wonderful words to match a well worn wooden structure! I like old buildings.
