spring sky so blue
its depth
infinity

a slice of light
between
dark and night

sunshine
after the big snow
the world made new

the deepening
of green and blue
expands the view

sighting you
brings delight
as deep as your color

lit
from within
soul of the rose

depth of blue
that can cool
an angry heart

into the light
joy is born
brighter for darkness’ depth

deep in the shade
wild columbine’s
embers burn

the current carries
memory and hope
forward ever forward

within
the depths
of bloom

wind ripples
the lake’s still waters
and depth of life

Petunia’s purple is so deep
it plunges into black.

If I could imagine the threshold to heaven
it would appear as did this dawn
with depth and light beyond mortal comprehension.
