welcome are the clouds
of April’s dappled skies
who shower us with colors
Peppered Sky
sky peppered with birds
the seasoning of spring
Fissure
shell of clouds cracks
yoke of blue
seeps through
Hidden Light
the sun obscured
a wintry day
the willow weeps
Rise
radiance is the soul
making itself known
Apeiron
stripes of white
cut through
an infinity of blue
Source
within the somber silence
the black and white of things
darkness gestates spring
Sky Light
a ray of light
within the dark
rekindles hope
and warms the heart
Thread
an icicle pendulum
suspended by a spider’s thread
metronome of sun and clouds
Home Sweet Home
in a blueberry sky
whipped cream clouds
top Sunday Mountain
Shades
undiluted by colors
complexities of grey
emerge and educate
Day Break
banishing another night
day burns bright
Dark Sky
dormancy depends
on darkness gathering round
the necessary shroud
sheltering inchoate spring
Now Voyager
spirits voyage
into the pink
back to the source
A Gate With A View
the world awaits
outside the garden gate
Magnificence
her majesty
saves a place for me
while holding up the sky
Away
far far away
perched near the sky
a pasture and house
watch the world go by
Into The Blue
the sky and mountains
wave and undulate like the sea
the universe stretches before me
Rise
across the lake
the mountains rise
beneath puffed clouds
sweet sighs the sky
Sun Kissed
like the sun in July
yellow spreads across the field
Summer
lazy clouds in a wide blue sky
the meadow is ripe
for resting in
Mountain Dreams
clouds
are what
mountains dream
Proof
that wide blue sky
a living proof
warmer days will not be denied
Wide Sky
clouds rush past
chased by the arctic wind
as I set my sights on blue
Travel
shadows and sunlight
travel
the still river
Steeple
homage
to the heavens
home of homes
Embrace
encircled by color
fall’s final embrace
Departure
In muted shades
softly the glooming
fades away the day.
Unfettered
dark clouds drifting
carry my cares away
Lichen Sky
In the absence of leaves
the branch wears lichen.
Spring will not be surrendered.
