luminous autumn light
sticks to every
leaf and twig
Like Honey
That Old Master
autumn light
painting memories
on the landscape
Time’s Allotment
old goldenrod and evergreens
holding the inbetween
of seasons
Porthole
an autumn rain
becomes winter ice
window to the seasons passage
In Autumn Light
we begin to see
the definitions
made by absence

the walk
itself
is the destination
Heavy Rain Finds Her Wings
when the slush
begins to float
autumn’s door is closing
All Of Autumn
taking place
in a puddle
on the ground
A Spell Is Cast
in autumn light
vision extends
into the forever
Splendor
the saintly birch
in her golden halo
luminous in blue
The Leaving Season
late autumn
time rushes by
like leaves on the wind
The Mountain Whispered Orange
this autumn
is a delicate affair
subtle in her hues
How Autumn Starts
branches
reintroduce themselves
one tiny flare of red
Autumn
shadows
are gaining ground
but light refuses full retreat
Last Hurrah
regardless
of the wear and tear
still exuding joy
As It Ends It Continues
autumn teaches
how much there is
in endings
No Longer Even A Memory
like the night’s dreams
morning mist disperses
until dissolved
Color Parade
late summer blooms
inveigle
autumn’s turn
Softly
the gentle landscape
rising and falling
showing us how
Primary, Secondary And Then
autumn brings
a tertiary rainbow
pink, yellow, orange
Autumn’s Gloaming
a radiance of colors
as the season fades
to winter
A Marriage Of Maple And Birch
distinct
and yet
together
Thoughts Of Winter
gather
at the edge of the woods
beneath the willow tree
Into The Blue
a sky so wide
if I lift my arms
will I be able to fly?
Final Harvest
autumn sun
a singular hum
of work being done
The River
I let
the current carry
all my worry away
Main Street
magnificent maples
by the white picket fence
autumn Americana
The Yard In Autumn
leaves and light
rest
on the lawn
Unexpected Snow
trees still wearing
their autumn colors
put on a shawl of white
Still Life
vibrancy
and demise
juxtaposed by light
